WHY SHOULD YOU MAKE A NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION

I know what you’re thinking. #WTF does Idris Elba have to do with this and #FOH with the New Year’s Resolution. First, I want to send you good vibes and energy going into the new year. Hope everything you work for comes to you with learning experiences that feed your soul and direct you to happiness.

There’s a big difference between living and existing. Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily routines, we forget to actually go out and live. To try new things, to help others, and give out that good energy. New Year’s Resolutions can help with that.

We also tend to make goals that are great end goals, but we might not be fully prepared to obtain them. We all want a million dollars, but do we really know what to do with a million dollars. Of course, buy all the things we want. Some might invest, but some might lend it out and in todays times. A million dollars can go quick! You have to practice being GREAT, no one starts out being great. So you actually have to take baby steps. Make small goals for yourself that add up.

So if money is going to be apart of one of your New Year’s Resolutions. You might want to check out the 52 Week Money Challenge. I have been doing this for the past 3 years. I’ll admit, I have yet to complete it, but that is only because somethings come up to where I need to use the money for an emergency or something that I wanted to purchase. Which technically, I see me as achieving my goal because that is what I was saving the money for.

Whatever your goals might be, start simple and easy. Train yourself, learn, and study on how to be a better you. If there’s a certain weight you want to be, that’s fine. First focus on being health. You do that, I promise you the weight will start to drop. But don’t try to run 10 miles, try to walk for the length of your favorite song. Dance to get that cardio going, train with a friend to keep you motivated. It’s going to take time, but you got this.

PLEASE READ! 😊 So today is the last day of this round of the @21daymealplan and I’m feeling GREAT! Now if you’re wondering if I have New Year’s Resolutions. Yes, I do. One is to actually use my website more, make more original content, to help others, etc. All my resolutions have BIG END GOALS for me, but they are also stuff that I know, can practice, and improve on. So all of them are actually obtainable for me. With a lot of goals, my eyes do get bigger than my stomach. But I’m learning myself to take baby steps. One of my goals were to pursue my dreams of coming to LA and working in radio and film. Well, one of those have come true. I know I’ll have to keep working and show myself, drive, ambition. And that will never be a problem.

So try these out. Write your goals down, look at them. Read them out loud, make a vision board if you like. Schedule and send a text to yourself, set alarms to remind yourself. Let yourself know that you have goals to complete. Again, we all get busy and those might help. You don’t have to make a list. Make one goal that you really want to keep and focus on it. If you feel like you can do more, do more. If not, focus on the one you have. These are your goals, can’t nobody judge you, but you. And if you don’t wanna believe or listen to me.
