Ever since 227, I have been a fan of Regina King. And since then, she has only gotten more impressive. Tonight, Ms. King won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in If Beale Street Could Talk. It’s a movie based off of the James Baldwin novel with the same name.
The film also stars Kiki Layne, Stephan James, Colman Domingo, Teyonah Parris, and Michael Beach.
I haven’t seen the movie yet, but it is definitely on the list. And if you don’t know who James Baldwin is…………..Ummm what is yo problem bruh, lol. Also here’s an INTERVIEW WITH JAMES BALDWIN just to get a little idea of who he was. Congrats Queen Regina King.
